Here’s the deal, I’ve been following the climate issue and environmental challenges for quite a while, so far what I am only certain is the endless uncertainties of a host of consequences of this mega-crisis. As a people who have been recently crowned as the largest greenhouse gas emitter plunge into their Independence Day vacation mode, I thought it would be kinda cool to take a break from seriousness. Here above is a game, a poll among my friends to see how soon they think the deadly sea level rise is upon us.

[There is no right or wrong answer. Take this exercise as nothing more than a game. Tap here for ClimateCentral.org’s cool predictive sea level rise pictures affecting major cities under 2C and 4C temperature rise scenarios.]

Bonus: NASA released this Hurricane Matthew’s animated path before landing in Florida, and no wonder it is that deadly.

The time-lapse animation is made up of images taken every 30 minutes from 10:15 a.m. EDT on October 5 to 8:15 a.m. EDT on October 6. It shows the storm spinning as a category 3 hurricane after hitting Haiti and Cuba, and heading toward the Bahamas and the coast of the U.S. Southeast. A few hours after this animation ends, the storm strengthened into category-4 as it approached the Florida coast.
